- Open idm by double click from system tray from right side bottom of your display.
- Then click on Downloads> Options > File types.
- you will see many extensions are listed in a box.
- What extension you want to add in idm you can type that extension with space like: zip xls xlsx.
- Now click ok and close that box and see the difference.
How to solve fake serial problem of IDM
IDM is a copyrighted product so the owners of this software want that you will buy their subscription. They will give you one month free trial of licence. You must like the features of IDM. So you will think to extend the licence validity of IDM and you can do it from their official page. But many others want that how they use this download accelerator for free for lifetime.
After one month your trial licence will be finished and idm will show a pop up message to buy the subscription. After trial licence finished you will be unable to continue download files from web. So you will try to find some solution to make the full version of IDM. You will get some malicious files and activators software from internet those will be harmful
for your computer. At this situation what will you do?
I have the successful solution to solve the IDM fake serial problem. You have to follow my short instruction to activate the the software
- At first download IDM software from official page IDM 6.25 build 8
- Then Install it on your computer by clicking next and next
- If you already used it on your pc then you will see the message saying '' Internet download manager has been registered with a fake serial number or the serial has been blocked. IDM has existing........
- Close IDM from system tray right side bottom if it there.
- Now you will unpack the downloaded zip which i will share below.
- if you are using any antivirus please disable it for 15-20 minutes don't afraid it is not any malicious tool but some antivirus think doubt with it.
C:\Program Files\Internet Download Manager > select copy and replace
- Then double click on registration > yes and ok.
- Now open IDM and see it is fully activated.
After activating if you would be unable to download from browser you have to enable idm extension from firefox and check the box in chrome.

DeleteIF it is firefox then click on tools menu and select add on and click enable on idm integration then check it is ok.
IF it is google chrome click on right side menu and select setting. then select extensions and check the box named enable on IDM Integration Module
